Inspired by a short film, Fairweather Wilds, The Forest Remembers will illuminate the historic role of tropical forests and afro-Caribbean workers in global trade and celebrate shared lineages of material and cultural heritage and stewardship. The campaign will use art, archives, and media to illuminate the contributions of free and enslaved workers of the diaspora in forest extraction and reconnect diaspora communities to powerful lineages.

Long term efforts will contribute to the revitalization of vital and endangered habitats and heritage in Belize.
